Managing Memberships

This guide covers how to manage member subscriptions and membership status.

Membership Statuses

  • Active — Member has full access to the gym
  • Frozen — Membership is temporarily paused (e.g., for vacation or injury)
  • Suspended — Membership is suspended due to overdue payments
  • Expired — Membership has reached its end date
  • Cancelled — Membership has been cancelled

Freezing a Membership

To temporarily pause a member's access:

  1. Go to Admin > Memberships
  2. Find the membership and click Freeze
  3. The member's access will be paused until you unfreeze it

Handling Overdue Payments

You can automatically suspend memberships with overdue payments:

  1. Go to Admin > Memberships
  2. Click Suspend Overdue to bulk-suspend all memberships with outstanding payments

Subscription Management

For members on recurring subscriptions:

  • Cancel Subscription — Stops future billing; access continues until period end
  • Resume Subscription — Reactivates a cancelled subscription before period end
  • Migrate to Subscription — Convert a manual membership to a recurring Stripe subscription
